Stronger Together

Personalized Exercise Programming in Cary

Six people in the room, six different programs. Your coach adjusts every movement to your goals, mobility, and history — and rewrites it as you progress.

Although members train together, every program is customized to the individual. Your coach adjusts movements based on your goals, fitness level, mobility, injuries, and progress — so every workout stays appropriately challenging and effective, whatever your experience.

Same Room, Different Programs

Walk into a session at our Cary studio and you’ll see six people working through the same block of training — and six different programs. One member is loading a trap bar, another is doing the same hinge pattern from an elevated surface, a third is working around a shoulder that doesn’t like overhead pressing yet. Your coach set all three up, and watches all three.

What Gets Personalized

Programming That Changes as You Do

A program that never changes stops working. Your training is reviewed every 30 days against real data — body composition, what you lifted, what felt good, what didn’t — and rewritten to match where you actually are. That’s the difference between exercising and training.

Built for Adults 40+

Programming for adults 40+ isn’t just lighter programming. It means prioritizing joint health, bone density, and movement quality alongside strength — and knowing when to push and when to back off. Our coaches build that judgment into every session, which is why strength training over 40 at Alloy looks different from a generic gym plan.

Google review

“The small group size (6 maximum) allows for the personalization necessary to meet the needs of each member for a safe and effective experience. The workouts are varied, customizable and challenging. I have been a member since this location opened a year ago and it has exceeded my expectations in every aspect.”

Common Questions

Will I be working out in a big group or getting personal attention?

Our sessions are limited to 6 people per coach, so you'll always get plenty of individual attention throughout the session, all while gaining motivation and support from other folks in the session!

What does a typical session look like?

Every session is about 50 minutes, coach-led from start to finish. You'll follow a program designed for your body: a guided warm-up, strength training scaled to your level, and coaching to keep you safe. No wandering around a gym floor wondering what to do next.

I have an old injury (bad knee, shoulder, back). Can I still train at Alloy?

Yes, and you're in the majority. Many of our members come to us with a previous injury, joint issue, or physical limitation. Your coach learns your history during your Starting Point Session and builds modifications directly into your program, so you train hard where you can and smart where you need to. Many members tell us this is the first place they've trained without pain.

Every Membership Starts the Same Way

Getting started is simple. Schedule your complimentary Starting Point Session at 5022 Arco St in Alston Town Center, where you'll meet with a coach to talk through your goals, health history, and training experience. We'll complete a strength and mobility assessment, an InBody body composition scan, and a goal-setting conversation — then map out a customized fitness plan and recommend the membership that's the best fit. No pressure, no obligations.
